A few days ago I was forced to erase everything on my laptop and give it a fresh start. I was the happy owner of an Office Pro licence, acquired through an HUP program with my employer. This version of Office was not linked to a Microsoft account, and unfortunately the adress used to register and receive the activation key does not longer exist. As you can guess, I am struggling to retrieve the activation key to Office. I cannot find it in my e-mail the adress no longer exists and all files from my previous C: drive except the AppData folder are erased.
I had an exchange via chat with a Microsoft Office support staff, who told me he could only re-send the activation key to the initial adress which doesn't exist anymore!
So this key exists somewhere, I have all the info that leads to it, but I am stuck! Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Unfortunately this cannot help me as I don't have an account linked to the product and my previous professional e-mail address does not exist anymore.
If you mean that you have left that company, then you are no longer eligible to use the Office license. Unfortunately with the link you sent me, I can only resend the order history to the email adress that doesn't exist anymore.
And as I understand it, for the HUP current office discount, it's still active even if you leave the company. Therefore if we apply this principle to the Office licence, I should still be able to use it since I bought it. But I don't remember the previous terms. The way I understand it, the new rules only apply to subscription versions of Office. This is from Microsoft:. Your Microsoft annual subscription remains active and the discount continues to apply as long as you maintain recurring billing on your subscription.
